Star Trek Csotume The Original Series Starfleet Uniform Pant TOS Men Kirk Spock Pants Halloween Party Prop

I've ordered several Star Trek garments from Fanrek and had been exceptionally pleased with all purchases until this one. I honestly think it may be the only item from Fanrek that I'm going to attempt to return.

Pros - Pattern of pants is spot on for TOS. I've actually never seen any other TOS uniform pants that were this well constructed. Great tailoring and they fit snug (I'm 5'7", 160 lbs and ordered a small for reference). A perfectly crafted offering for TOS pants.

Cons - The material. This is probably on me a bit as you can see a touch of sparkle on the web page image for the pants, but what I got was on a different level of sparkle. I've seen authentic TOS pants from show and they had a bit of sheen to them but nothing like this. They are almost to disco level of glitter (dancefloor disco and not ST: Discovery disco). My wife put it best when she asked if they left a trail of stardust behind them. Maybe mine just came from an off batch of material as the other customer photos seem more black and less glittery.

Hate to knock a product from Fanrek, but it's an honest review for the product I received.

The material is a slightly metallic black knit fabric (which I believe is screen accurate. It's hard to tell because film quality of TOS isn't that great, but in certain shots you can tell there is a gleam to the TOS paints). The fabric has a nice thickness and has some stretch to it, so it's comfortable. Includes two handy pockets that are a good size in the front waistband so there is a place to put a phone. Very pleased with the look and style of it, highly recommend.
I ordered an XL for my 6'3", 220-pound husband, and it fits him well. I could have ordered a 2XL for a slightly looser fit, but the XL works fine.

These TOS pants are an exact replica of the original series in every way right down to the way the seams match what the original wardrobe did including the flair that a lot of other makers don't include or do right. The material used is replicated nicely including the reflective threading which makes it that more authentic.

Fit well and is good quality. Paired perfectly with the top and some boots I found on Amazon.

I wear an American size 31 Waist and I originally bought a size medium but they were too big. I next ordered size small, but the waist was still loose and they were sliding down.

They look great and are very comfortable. Almost like sweat pants. Just make sure you know that these pants have no way to adjust the waist other than the elastic built in. I didn't have time, but if I would have added strips of elastic as suspenders, they would have been perfect.
